We are excited to announce that the Revolve Pizza Oven has been certified and recommended by the True Neapolitan Pizza Association (AVPN) as the first domestic pizza oven with a rotating stone to meet the standards of true Neapolitan pizza.


The association meticulously evaluates and tests equipment to ensure it meets their standards so this is kind of a big thing. We set out to create a pizza oven that would help more people get into the hobby of pizza making and make the crafting of perfect pizza easier.


To have the Associazione Verace Pizza Napolitana certify our pizza oven is a culmination of years of design, testing, and hard work we have poured into the Revolve.

Perhaps the most famous pizza, the pizza margherita gets its name from Queen Margherita of Savoy who was served the now famous pizza in 1889. The basil, mozzarella, and tomato were used to mirror the colors of the Italian flag.

What is the AVPN?

Education and upkeep of traditions in Italy and around the world

Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana or AVPN in short is an association focused on protecting the tradition and methods of Neapolitan pizza making to ensure not only the quality of the production process and the products but also the pizzerias. The Association regulates:

  1. PIZZA RESTAURANTS The AVPN has certified more than a thousand restaurants around the world as serving authentic Neapolitan-style pizza. You can use their exhaustive list to find the nearest AVPN-certified restaurant to you.
  2. PIZZA CHEFS The Association offers education and holds a registry of authorized pizza chefs and equipment operators to professionalize the profession of a pizzaiolo.
  3. EQUIPMENT AND INGREDIENTS Whether it is flour, dough mixers or pizza ovens, the approved companies need to live up to the standards set by the AVPN.
